Nordic TV is a premier streaming service provider tailored for the Scandinavian market. The objective was to design an intuitive e-commerce platform that simplifies the subscription process for high-definition IPTV services. Built on WordPress and WooCommerce, the site offers specialized packages starting from 10-day trials to full yearly subscriptions, supporting a wide range of devices including Smart TVs, Apple TV, and Android.

Overview

The project focused on creating a visually driven landing page that emphasizes Nordic TV’s reliability and content variety. I integrated a robust system to showcase over 10,000+ channels and 2,500+ series, ensuring that the diverse catalog is easy to navigate. The design focuses on “social proof” by incorporating partner logos (Viaplay, Viasat, etc.) and a clear price-to-value proposition to convert visitors into subscribers instantly.

Challenge

One of the key challenges was niche-specific localization. Since the target audience is in Sweden and Denmark, the UI needed to feel familiar and trustworthy to Nordic users. This required integrating specific currencies (kr/DKK) and ensuring that the technical aspects of IPTV—like M3U playlists and TV Box compatibility—were explained simply.

Additionally, I had to ensure that the heavy use of high-resolution device mockups didn’t compromise the site’s Core Web Vitals, as IPTV users expect lightning-fast performance.

Solution

I implemented a clean, card-based UI using Elementor to break down complex service information into digestible sections. To build authority, I strategically placed a “Partner Bar” featuring major sports and movie broadcasters. I also integrated a tiered pricing architecture in WooCommerce, allowing for trial periods (99 kr) and hardware-software bundles (Peoples TV Box). For performance, I utilized advanced image optimization and lazy-loading techniques to ensure the site remains responsive across all devices and browsers.

Results

The project successfully launched as a high-conversion sales funnel for Nordic TV. The result is a dynamic, performance-optimized website that has streamlined the customer onboarding process. With a mobile-first approach and a clear “Beställ Nu” (Order Now) strategy, the platform has become a stable hub for the client’s growing subscriber base, providing a professional and secure environment for digital entertainment transactions.
