RS EDEN

Open for All: Helping You Build New Beginnings

Context

RS EDEN is a multi-faceted non-profit organization dedicated to providing housing, substance use recovery, and community reentry services. The goal was to build a highly accessible and empathetic website that serves as a lifeline for individuals seeking transformation. Developed with WordPress and Elementor, the platform highlights the organization’s mission to help people overcome injustice and rebuild their lives through structured support programs.

Overview

The website acts as a digital gateway for three core pillars: Find Housing, Get Treatment, and Community Reentry. I focused on a high-visibility design using a bold primary color palette (Blue and Yellow) to ensure clear navigation for users who might be in high-stress situations. Key features include integrated donation portals, service-specific landing pages, and a “Success Stories” slider to showcase real-life transformations, making the platform both functional for clients and engaging for donors.

Challenge

The primary challenge was User Experience (UX) for a diverse audience. The site needed to serve three very different groups simultaneously: people in crisis seeking immediate help, government partners looking for program details, and donors wanting to contribute. Balancing these needs without making the homepage look cluttered was crucial.

Additionally, since the audience may include people with limited digital literacy, the interface had to be ultra-intuitive with prominent, easy-to-read Call-to-Action (CTA) buttons like “Get Help Now.

Solution

I implemented a “Tri-Pillar” grid layout on the homepage, allowing users to self-identify their needs immediately upon landing. Using Elementor Pro, I designed custom blocks for each service category with distinct colors for easy visual separation. To build trust and transparency, I integrated a Testimonial Module called “Writing New Stories Everyday,” which humanizes the brand. I also ensured the donation process was streamlined and secure, minimizing the steps required for supporters to contribute to the cause. The entire site was optimized for mobile accessibility, ensuring help is just a tap away.

Results

The project delivered a compassionate and highly functional digital hub that has strengthened RS EDEN’s community presence. The clear, organized structure has led to better resource allocation as users can now find specific program information faster. The “Open for All” branding is effectively communicated through the inclusive design, resulting in increased engagement from both service-seekers and the donor community.

The final website stands as a professional, scalable, and secure platform that truly reflects the organization’s commitment to social change.
